Import Duty and VAT For Deliveries Outside of the EU
Goods dispatched to countries outside of the EU may have an import duty and/or taxes levied on them when they reach your country. Whether any charges are payable will depend on the value of the package and where you are having it delivered to.
We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they might be as customs policies vary widely from country to country. You should contact your local customs office for further information. If there any additional charges for customs clearance, they must be borne by you. - Privacy & Security
- Moccis finds it very important to ensure that all of the your personal information is treated with the utmost care and security. We have therefore structured our web site so that, in general, you can visit the website without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. Once you choose to provide us with any information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Statement. For your protection, we are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and have given all appropriate notifications to the Information Commissioner.
- We have taken all the essential measures to make sure that any information you give us, including credit card details, remains private and secure and that your payment and registration information is processed with total confidentiality. When you place orders or access account information, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection laws, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information, which you have given us, to prevent, unauthorised access.
- If you subscribes to our newsletter, your personal details will be used to keep you informed of changes to our assortment, special offers, website improvements and other relevant information pertaining to Moccis. If you no longer wishes to be subscribed to our newsletter, you may cancel your subscription via ‘Unsubscribe’ in the newsletter.
- Records of website visits are kept for statistical purposes. Information concerning the amount of visitors and visitor frequency to our website will be used for internal research and website improvement. However, this general information is anonymous and cannot be traced back to the individual visitor.
- Returns & Replacements
- You can return unused items in the original packing and with all labels intact within 14 days for a full refund or exchange. Please phone or email us to confirm that you would like to return your item within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.
We recommend that you return items via registered mail. Please ensure you have sufficient insurance cover especially when returning valuable products. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transport. Please note that return postage will not be refunded. Should you be sent a faulty item, we will of course reimburse you fully.

While every effort has been made to portray items and colour as accurately as photographic and publishing processes will allow, there may be slight variations in the actual goods due to that each Moccis is indiviually hand sewed. Please note there may be variations in colours dependant on the calibration and settings of individual screens. All measurements quoted are approximate.

- Ordering
- Once an order has been placed, you will directly receive an email to confirm the details of the order and the total costs associated with the order. All orders will be sent within five working days after receipt of payment. In the case of technical malfunction, however, which falls under the category of circumstances beyond Moccis’ control, an order will be shipped as soon as possible. Moccis will keep you duly informed of the status of the order. Together with your order you will recieve a receipt of your purchase.
- We strive to keep our websites as current as possible. However, the possibility remains that a certain product is no longer available, in which case we will contact you as soon as possible.
- Payment, Pricing & Promotions
- The total cost of your order is the price of the goods plus delivery charges as set out in the Delivery section and will be confirmed to you on the final step before you click on the "place order" button.
- Payment can safely be made by most major credit or debit cards through Sage Pay’, or Paypals’ payment system. We also accept payment via BACS and cheques.
- Payment will be debited from your account upon or shortly before despatch of the goods to you. When using one of our payment systmes you confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment we will not accept your order and we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal. We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your order.
- Please note that Visa Electron and Maestro cards are restricted from being used internationally by some countries and so customers outside of the UK may not be able to use them.
- All prices and charges on the Website are based on UK pounds sterling but are shown in the currency you prefer. They include any VAT payable but exclude delivery charges.We are not responsible for any other importation taxes, sales taxes or charges that may be levied at the delivery destination.
- Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the Website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.
- Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period.
- We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods on the Website at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order.
